Finally the Colts cruise their way to a deserved championship victory. Peyton Manning has shown why he is the best QB in the NFL and colts the best offensive lineup. Surprising for the Chicago Bears the Colts defense came out blazing as opposed to the common notion.
Looking back at how the game went, I think it was the defense that won the game for the Colts. Though being one of the worst defenses in the nation against the running offenses , they came strongly during the Playoffs. Tony Dungy comes out from the grief of losing his 18 year old son to hand in Colts the Superbowl XLI championship title. He now joins the likes of Hofer mike Ditka and Tom Flores as only the 3rd person to win Super Bowl as player and head coach. An achievement that will go down into the record books.

Back to the game, Even though the Colts started slowly, they surely got going into the second quarter and the Bears had run out of steam by then. After the first half the Colts took firmer control of the game as minute passed and half way into the fourth quarter the writing was on the wall. Scenes of Victory seemed to vanish for the Bears and frustration of not getting the offensive plays right was taking over. On the other side Manning was doing much better than Grossman, though couldnt make it pay, but was supported superbly by the defense. Kevin Hardley bringing up a touchdown from an interseption took the game a little farther away from the bears and eased the pressure on the offensive team.

All in all a nice game and happy that the Colts have finally won it !!! A title they should have taken home last year, if not for the Patriots. The defeat of last year was avenged this year.
Now its time for me to get going on my assignments, or I shall be in trouble of getting SACKED right in the POCKET !!!
